    The combination of PDL Synchronization Server and PDL Synchronization Client(s) forms a lightweight solution that integrates seamlessly with TechSAT’s existing PDL software and requires little effort to integrate in an airline/MRO environment. 

    The PDL Synchronization Server software is a front-end application used to manage the PDL central repository. It provides the following functions: 

    • Management of the PDL parts library (adding / deleting aircraft parts, assigning A/C tail numbers to aircraft parts) 
    • Monitoring of the load results from all PDLs, access to the load files (e.g. NVM download files) 
    • Management of A/C tail numbers and software configurations 
    • The PDL Synchronization Client is used to synchronize a PDL with the PDL central repository.

    The PDL Synchronization solution provides the following features:

    • Electronic distribution of up-to-date software parts to all PDLs (via network, Wi-Fi, or 3G)
    • Transfer of load results from all PDLs to the central server
    • Incorporation of aircraft software configuration management into PDLs
    • Log of configuration changes and report of current configuration at aircraft level


    Supported Architecture

      The PDL Synchronization solution is based on the exchange of files between the PDLs and the data storage server, supported architectures include shared folders, ftps protocol and cloud storage solutions.
